Hi! We began Sediment as a tribute to Ebben’s grandparents multi-generational lobstering business on Block Island. Our goal is to connect our community to local seafood and bring attention towards the local fishing fleet. We spend our days out on the water in our little yellow lobstering boat, and our evenings bringing our lobsters to your backyard.

Sediment is committed to honoring our oceans, and encouraging connection between local seafood and the Block Island community. We work with The the RI Commercial Fishing Research Foundation to conduct various vessel based research. We also work with the Block Island Maritime Institute on educational collaborations.
